We’re getting married at the Holiday Inn on Aytoun Street in Manchester.
As many times as you’d like until the 25th August. If you find you suddenly have a way bigger commitment than watching us get married or you suddenly want to come, please feel free to update your RSVP selection before that date.
Sooner is obviously better!
25th August 2024
You are welcome to arrive from Midday. Our ceremony is planned for 1 pm and we’d suggest arriving sometime between 12 and 12:30 pm.
We are expecting the evening celebrations to begin around 7 pm, but if we’re running a little behind schedule please feel free to grab a drink at the bar
Please try to arrive with plenty of time before the wedding, you may not be permitted into the room once the ceremony has started. But you will be more than welcome to share the rest of the day with us!
If your invite includes a plus one, please let us know who will be joining for the special day when you RSVP. If there is not a +1 included and you’d really want for them to join us for our big day, please speak to us and we will see if we are able to accommodate them.
We are a 3-5 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Train Station and with Manchester getting so many direct trains from various parts of the country, we recommend taking the train (keeping an eye out for possible train strikes). There is also a coach station and an airport for those of you looking for more adventurous methods.
If you are driving, then parking in Central Manchester can be quite expensive and our venue does not have parking attached. While going to Manchester we noted signs about a possible upcoming Low Emissions zone possibly coming in to force in the future. If driving is still required, then we do have a list of places to park here.
Please arrive with plenty of time to be settled in the ceremony room for a 1:00 pm start. We’re still going through the plan with the venue, once this has been confirmed we will post this on the website. We will also have copies of this available to you for you to see/keep at the venue.
Cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with tie and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates. No hats please. We’d also request that you reserve white for the bride only.
While your presence at our wedding is already gift enough and we are extremely lucky to already have a flat full of furniture, so if you would like to give us a gift, we’ve setup a honey moon fund full of full adventures and activities here: ourdreamhoneymoon.com/katieanddan
We should have a postbox with a “photo booth” within it. That will be situated near-ish the bar within the Holiday Inn. Please feel free to place your card within this at any point and why not grab a quick “selfie” at the same time!
You’ll be able to choose from a range of options for the wedding breakfast, including Vegetarian/Vegan and Gluten Free choices. Please use our RSVP page to view the menu options and let us know what food you would prefer by the 25th August at the latest.
When you RSVP and there is an option on the first page to let us know of any dietary requirements. If you tell us something specific, we will work with the venue to make them aware of this.
Debit/Credit cards are accepted at the venue, but while we’ve not found this to be too expensive, please do expect hotel prices rather than Wetherspoons pricing.
Thank you very much for your offer, but if we do need help we will probably ask you!
Please message us directly, or use our form to email us! We might even add it to this list if we think it might be helpful! If you don’t remember until the day, I’m sure one of the grooms people/bridesmaids would love to hear your question.
